2026-08-20 — men’s 100 m backstroke, adjusted times. Recomputed under the age–sex–pool adjustment v3.0, which estimates the pool-length effect per event rather than per stroke. Intervals widened for short-course-only swimmers — a median of 0.04 s, largest 0.11 s, across 2 118 affected swimmers — and two previously separated pairs moved into one indistinguishability group. Under v2.2 those pairs were reported as distinguishable. That report was wrong.

2026-02-11 — junior age curve. Refitted after three federations backfilled junior results covering 2019–2023. Adjusted times for swimmers aged 14–17 at the time of the race moved by between 0.02 s and 0.14 s; the median change was 0.06 s, on 3 411 affected figures.
